Porting throttle body?

Porting throttle body?

I was told I could port my throttle body to get some more hp but i was wondering the best way to go about doing this.

Heres a pic of my sucess in doing it. I like the results, feels better up high, idle is a little rough when cold but after a few minutes its rock steady.

That's because you removed the thermowax. It's got nothing to do with porting the TB. You can remove the #2 secondary plates and port the TB for minor power gains, and leave the thermowax in place for a perfect cold idle.
