Oil level light came on WTF!!!

Ok guys I just did an oil change about 4 days ago. Now I have the oil level light comming on here. WTF I looked around the engine bay and nothing seems to be spewing oil out at that rate. Oil cooler lines look ok from what I can tell and the oil cooler isn't broken or cracked. I don't see any oil stains or puddles under my car :/ I've only driven around 280 miles since and I can't really figure it out. I used 5 quarts of Mobile One like I always do and changed the filter. SOS

There's this neat invention called a "dipstick." What's it say about your oil level?

Yeah, check it first. Hell, it might just be the oil level sensor failing.

I'm pretty sure thats if you empty out the oil cooler. I don't think many people do that and I know I didn't. But i'll check on it.

That's if it is completely empty, everything, including oil cooler. I've never been able to fit that much in mine.

Bump the side of the oil pan near the sensor attach area with a soft mallet- it probably just got a little stuck on the contacts when you drained the oil...If all else fails (and we have faith in you on your ability to read a dipstick), drain the oil again, pull the sucker out, and play with it till it works right...
