I have a Bridge port Template and would like to know if i use the main port of the two would that effectivly be a Extended port (Street port)?

I was told the Bridge starts life as a big Extended port with a extra port cut, does this sound right?

Its just i have been asked to Street port a Engine and it would save time and money if i could use my Templates.

I have a Racing beat Bridge Template, The Port shape seems quite large so do you think it could be used as Extended port?

Any Idears?
