porting S5 wastegate

I did a quick search really didn't see a lot of info. Wonder if someone has a link on how to modify the S5 wastegate.

I have a full racingbeat exhaust and when ever its cool enough outside I hit 16psi on a stock fuel system. What can I do to modify the wastegate to cure this issue? 10years ago I modified my S4 which is easy to do but the S5 is different and it doesn't look like there is a lot of material to remove to increase the wastegate size.

Thanks,
Ian

s5 ports flow plenty. the problem is the flapper only opens a crack before it hits the backing plate. you can take an angle grinder to the back of the flap and also to the inside of the backing plate to allow the door to open up further

The smaller WG port can be opened up a decent amount. I think it was 18mm originally, and I took it to 23mm. The larger port I took to 26mm. I left around 1-2 mm on the edges to allow the flap to seal properly.

As gxl90rx7 mentioned, you can take around a 1/16" out of the backplate to let the door open further.
