porting my turbo and the exhaust housing wont turn

porting my turbo and the exhaust housing wont turn

yeah so im porting my wastegate but i cant get the exhaust side of the turbo to spin to get the last two bolts out. ive tried penitratin oil but it wont budge. there are 6 bolts the the exhaust side should come off but there are oil lines blockin the way and all of em are out but 2 and housing wont turn for ****. ne ideas

This ones easy!!!!! kinda

There are bolts that are under the oil line and coolant line. Use a wrench (14mm i think)and turn one of the 2 bolts at a time. Just turn each bolt a little at a time and eventually the turbo will pop apart. Be careful not to strip them.

that's what I did. I was a little nervous about it but it worked decent. and it's a 13mm wrench.

if you would rather do it differently you have to put the hot side in a vice and find a way (some sort of lever) to crank the cold side around. be careful if you do because you really don't want to pop one side up higher than the other with much force or else you'll screw up the turbine.
