tps bad???
I've been having idle issues so last night I checked my tps to see if it was bad. I followed the instructions on fs3cpro.com and my results were strange. At rest, 0 throttle, it read 1k-ohm like its suppose to, but as I opened the throttle, it would spike to 1.3k-ohm and at wot it was .5k-ohm, his site says that it should sweep up to 6k-ohm. Is my tps effed or is it becuase its a s4 tps?

Disconnect the TPS sensor connector and look at the sensor end. It should have three pins.
A
B C
Your Ohmmeter probes should be testing pins A and C, and at closed throttle with the engine fully warmed up should read 1000 Ohms plus/minus 50 or so.
With the probes still on pins A and C, slowly open the throttle. The resistance readings should steadily and smoothly increase to 5000 ohms plus/minus 500 or so.
Don't panic when the max reading occurs at half throttle. This is normal. My max reading is 4780 and the TPS works perfectly.
