So in middle of rebuilding my s5 t2 motor n figuring might as well port it while its apart. My questions are wat port job to go with. Looking maybe at a bridge port or extend port. Which one do u guys like n also where to get good templates at. Also wat needs to be upgrading in order to run 1 of these ports? It's gonna be my daily driver. Thanks guys

If you have to ask just do a street port. Bridge you can mess it up if you dont know what your doing. There are plenty of threads of how not to port.

a template is almost worthless if you don't reshape the runners

What are your power goals? In almost every case, a bridgeport is not required. And even when it may be "required", "required" is a matter of opinion. For example, I personally feel that you should start looking at bridgeports when shooting for high 400HP levels and above, to allow you to run a larger turbocharger at lower boost while keeping lag under control. Others have different opinions.

If you are going to stick with the stock turbo, just a mild street port will do the job. If upgrading the turbo, then a bit more porting on the order of RBs "street" TII templates is appropriate.

This video, while not really helping with the question of what port job you should do, will help you with the process of porting:

Thanks guys n aaron ur videos are perfert. Watched them few weeks ago.I'm thinking jus go wit a lil bigger than mild streetport. I'm goin to upgrade turbo later down the road. How big of a port can I go without switching to a standalone? Not quiet sure on power range but i would like to get between 325 to 400. She's gonna be my daily driver but am looking into track n drifting

you can go rather large of a streetport with the stock ECU, it also has the benefit of still being able to pass emissions whether you want to worry about that now or down the road when you possibly want to sell the car.
