im build a turbo motor from the ground up and im looking to make around 450hp or so so im not even going to mess with the ports with the right turbo and ems setup i should be fine correct?

my real question is that i really like and want the brap brap brap sound from a lopie idle this will be the first time trying to port but im very skilled and think i can pull it off so im guessing that to get the idle i would port the exhaust any suggestions and where is a good step by step guide of any?

 

i thought the lopey sound came from bridge porting the intake ports?

 

i really have no idea as this will be my first time porting a rotory iv done pistons before but not the rotory

 

if you already got it out and apart u should street port it atleast why not you know?

 

well really i want to go for an agressive street port but as im only looking for around 400-450hp iv read that porting really isint needed to reach this goal and im using new housings rotors and rx8 e shaft i figured if it aint broke dont fix it..the whole porting thing is so controversial i really have no idea which direction to take i just want the lumpy agressive sound out of the motor would an agressive street port give me this?
