porting

just woundering how you port the intake manifold. what is exactly done. i know what is done for a bridge and periphrel ports job but how do you port a manifold

There are places on N/A intake manifolds that people have ported. Particularly the s5 N/A.

I did a gasket port match on my old s4 N/A. It probably didn't make a huge difference, but it felt like power didn't drop off till past redline after I did it. Before power would drop off at 6300rpms. I will do it agian if I get another N/A. Keep in mind the car was highly modded. On a stock car it wouldn't do anything because the intake manifold is not a bottleneck on a stock car.
