What do you need to port a fc , can it be done with basic tools ?

 

yes, but you do realize you have to tear your motor apart right?? they sell templates from Racing beat that are rather good.. all you really need is a die grinder..

don't for get about the carbied bits, and sanding rolls, plus the porting template, those bit and rolls are pretty expensive, all in all you looking at like 100-150 bucks just for the tool, considering you have a die grinder.....for about 100 more you can send them off and have them CNC ported much more acurate and cleaner
