To port or not to port? (exhaust)

Hi!

Finally i got all the parts that i need, but i havnt decided if im gonna port the exhaust or not.
My setup:

13bRE engine,
s4 rotorhousings,
GT35R turbo (divided t4),
Divided custom manifold,

The car is going to be used on the street but also on many driftevents etc so i want a drivable car!

Should i port the exhaust?
If so, what kinda port size?

Sindre

It will help spool time if you port the exhaust.

he said he is driving it on the street, how would a p port be a good idea. porting is not necessary with re irons, the stock ports are capable of large numbers, the tuner i use is making 700 flywheel horsepower on stock re ports. good luck with your choice, if it were me and i was doing any kind of porting, i would do a mild street port.

i'm not sure if you've seen the exhaust ports on a 13bRE, but they suck ***. change the sleeves out for TII sleeves and port the exhaust ports.

Racing beat sells the templates for both intake and exhaust. I ported my 87TII that way in the intake and exhaust and everything is fine I have full boost by 3500rpm's and not sure if it droppes off yet or not I havent been to hard on the motor, only have 600 miles on it. Also stock s4 turbo
