just sold a window ... whats the best way to pull it without ******* it up

 

Leave the window partway up. Remove the interior panel of the door, and the inside and outside weatherstripping/trim at the top. There are holes in the appropriate places on the inside sheet metal of the door to unscrew the power actuator mechanism from the window glass; then you just carefully pull up the glass. You'll have to tilt it in substantially at the top so that the attached plastic parts clear the slot.

It's actually pretty easy to figure out once you've got the door panel off.

 

dont have power on the vehicle anymore lol. so it poses a sort of challenge

 

Yeesh. Well, you could connect a lantern battery to the actuator terminals; that's how I tested one I was rebuilding.

 

If u just pull the door panel off u should be able to tell where the glass is bolted to the regulator. Just take out those 2-3 bolts and pull the window up the tracks. It is pretty easy just takes a lil wiggling.
