Port Air Solenoid

So, if the Port Air Solenoid is disabled after 20K miles, the #33 error code I'm getting is meaningless--right? Wel then, how do I clear the code from the ECU memory? Tried several times but it won't clear. Other codes clear immediately.

Check the wiring at the solenoid. Sometimes they burn out and short the wiring causing the error

Thanks Mark, I'll take a look. Since the solenoid is no longer active (my GTU has considerably more than 20K miles), I guess it's not a big deal anyway? Just makes reading other codes a little more difficult.

Remember it reactivates at 100K, so they get switched back on

Hmmm, didn't know that. I'm at 65K miles so I doubt if this car will ever see 100K--as long as I own it, that is. That would be bunch of track miles.
