Ok u know the feeling like when you u-joints are going bad it like when u take off or jolt the car it kinda pops, but my whole driveshaft is new, new u-joints and everything, and it just startedl like the other day, its like i have bad u-joints but i think(not for sure) that its comeing from the front of the car, if the rod and pinions are bad will they do it, i mean it dont do it when i ture, or maybe the cv joints, is there ANY thing else it could be, list em alllllll

if its kind of a klunking when you shaprly step off/on the gas. Then it could possibly be a differential mount. Ive had mine break before and have heard of other cases. To check this get under the car and just simply try to push up or pull down on the driveshaft where it connects to the diff. Youll know if this is the problem right away. Hope this has helped.

 

i just went out and drove the car and it sounds like its coming from the drivers side front, could the rack and pinion be doing this, cause it was leaking power steering fluid like crazy and i put some of that leak stop stuff in and i quit but now something is just making a klunking noise but its not when i step on or off the gas, is like when i hit bumps, yeah deff. when i hit bump going slow

Klunking noise mainly at low RPMs and reversing is what I heard before my driveshaft went out.

 

does your car vibrate when it reaches a certain speed?

 

I have a new mazdatrix driveshaft that just got put in and i know what it sounds like when the u joints are going, and its not that

And 89tracerman my car does seem to vibrate now up at higher speeds

Whats that mean
