Please oh please tell me im right....

Driving home, going about 60, the engine all the sudden gets about 10x louder. Still has plenty of power and no smells, drop in OP, or engine temp.

I remember that the exhaust manifold to presilencer nuts were missing locking washers.

I am crossing my fingers that they just fell off and nothing else bad happened.... hopefully

wtf. you said that you knew you forgot lock washers, you found that the nuts (not bolts, they are nuts, There's a difference) hanging on by 2 threads, and yet you ask if you should install lock washers? This forum is not a crutch for common sense!

Well its too bad not all of us are born as intellegent as yourself, sir. As far as how helpful your post was? About as much as me scratching my nuts over here. Stop nit-picking and find something useful to do, like clean your room or some ****.

Anyways for the original poster, yeah just slap some lockwashers on or put some locktite on there. I'd suggest torquing everything everything down to their respective numbers to prevent things like this from happening also. Good luck.

Anyone feel free to waste their time to spell check or pick this post apart, you've probably got more time than I do.

Some people just need a wake-up call. What's your problem with this? If you think he's wrong say so.
