lots of low end power not much top end

well it seems like after about 5grand i lose alot of power. the boost will go from like 9 to 5 by the time it gets to 7grand. it it just because the stock turbo is maxing out or wearing out or maybe my compression? it has tons of power on the low end but not much top end in, and if im at a roll in like 4grand in 2nd i can take off pretty fast but it just loses alot a little beofore 7 grand. oh yeah i also dont have my flywheel or clutch installed yet. how much will that make a difference?

Usually from 2nd gear I can pull hard, third is bad, and so on, but my quickest rolling gear is 2nd.

Most of the time I thought you start to lose power the more you go over your peak rpm. I shift most of the time around 6500.

TII's don't have auxilery ports

*edit* could it be your exhaust is a little restricting and at higher RPM's you get too much backpressure??
