Please identify these connectors/clips

first is not actually a connector on the harness...its a ground by the throttle body..all the other grounds were pretty obvious but i dont know where to ground this one. can i ground to the dynamic chamber bracket?

Heres a black clip i found in the back right corner of the engine bay (drivers side)

a rando by the fuel filter..

a green clip by the alternator..

another green clip by power steering..

clip down near the oil filter

2 green clips near battery

the green clips are test connectors, they dont plug into anything. the 2nd or 3rd pic is for the stock coolant gauge, it connects on the rear iron.

that ring ground should connect directly to the block, ussually thers raised cyander area with a hole for a 12 mm bolt on top of the rear rotor housing.

do not confuse this with a posibly hole on the side of the rotor housing if an s5 or hole on side of middle iron as that is where the knock sensor threads into

Just went through the same process on my TurboII rebuild myself...I know most of them

Its a ground, as long as it is grounded somewhere to the engine block it will be fine

Take a look at my thread i will post at the bottom of this reply, it may be the water temp wire but it looks a bit different, if not then it doesnt connect to anything

oil pressure wire, connects under the oil filter to a round thing

that is the signal wire for the twinscroll solonoid, it should be connected to the solonoid on the rats nest that has the corresponding green spot on it

diagnostics connector, leave it alone

not sure...

more diagnostics connectors

Here is my thread over the same stuff...

Good luck!

yes but you need to make sure that where the ground contacts the bracket is clean (use some steel wool and grind down the contact area, also you need to make sure that where the bracket is screwed to the engine is also a clean contact as the current will need to go from the bracket to the engine. but when it comes down to it you should really just ground it to the block to avoid any further issues (keeping in mind the mysterious 3k hesitation that occurs to many 7's). If you really dont feel like pulling off the upper throttle body i guess you could splice a new longer wire onto the existing one and then you could reach somewhere more accessible on the block, just remember to clean the contact point!
