Unhappy Please help me solve this, I'm losing faith in my 7

Regrounded pressure(boost) sensor hoping to improve performance.

Now my car basically boggs out and has NO power above 3800rpm when under hard throttle. (with the new ground!)

The hesitation/power loss improves when I remove the ground I added to sensor. (?)

I replaced the hose & pill running to sensor, I didn't have the pill - didn't seem to help.

This morning it happened with the ground disconnected. WTF?

Can anyone help me make sense of this before I give up and get a BMW.

If you ground the sensor, you must also re-ground the ECU and the Engine. Just regrounding the sensor will result in a ground loop.

You must have the pill in the line to the pressure sensor. The sensor will not read correctly without it, and your engine will have even more of a hesitation issue.

Re. the restrictor pill in the boost sensor vacuum line, I replaced the original line in my NA FC with new line sans the pill. My car has no hesitation in any RPM range. However, the engine, intake manifold, and air flow meter are ported which may change the need for the restrictor pill.

FYI . . . my ECU is grounded to the battery negative cable but my boost sensor has no additional grounding wires. Using my multimeter, I measured resistance on all peripheral engine devices (coils, sensors, etc.) and all reasured ~.4 ohm or less. I did install two extra grounds to the engine block and upper manifold to hedge against the unlikely chance of the stock engine ground's unexpected demise.
