Please help me with my car
Ok so im pretty sure its when its cold. Ill floor it and it wont go anywhere, the rpms will go up but its like I have a 2k lb weight tied to the back of the car holding me back, and then sometimes first through third gear it starves of fuel from 1k rpm to 3-4k rpm. I look at my a/f gauge and its barely lit up its running so lean. Ive noticed it getting like this since its been getting colder, im going to go pick up and engine grounding kit and also buy a new fuel pump, but I dont know if thats the problem, please please can someone help me. Thanks
Ps Ive been told that its my gauge, its not my gauge, im just getting a positive reading of my car running lean as ****.

You are describing a fuel restriction, so check out the whole fuel feed system.
Start with the easy stuff:
fuel pickup strainer in the tank,
fuel filter,
test the fuel pump voltage.
Then have the injectors cleaned & tested.
Another possibility - the TPS - If it is worn out, the resistance value will erratically drop as the plunger moves part way out. The ECU sees idle & cuts fuel.

also make sure the vac line to the FPR on the back of the secondary fuel rail is A) hooked up and B) not leaking or closed off.
Cold air = denser air = more fuel needed!!!!!
I'd get a walbro 255 and slap that in and do the fuel pump re-wire while you are at it... it is something you should really do anyway!!!

yah I was either going to buy and FD fuel pump or a walbro 255, I figured that would help. Do you still have to rewire the fuel pump when i get a new one, dont they come with new wires?
