Please help me install a DIS-2 on the trailing coil.

I need help with installing a MSD DIS-2 on the trailing coils. Would someone be kind enough to explain to me what wire hooks up to what component? Do I need to change any of the pin settings on the DIS-2 unit. I would like to have this unit setup this weekend.

Follow the instructions with the DIS-2 - just make sure which channel is which.&nbsp Also, switch it so it's 360-degree, versus 720-degree - this'll allow the multi-spark to work correctly.&nbsp Turn off all the retard and rev limiter features.&nbsp The manual is pretty thorough on this.

As for wiring on FC, insert the DIS-2 in between the ignitor and the coil itself.

Ted,
I still have gotten the DIS-2 to fire my trailing plugs. Do I need to put in a tack adapter from msd part number 8910 or 8912?

You shouldn't need a tach adapter.
