Please Help me! CAr Shaking. Clutch maybe?

Hi,
I have a 1991 rx-7 N/A it has 130k miles. It was running great but now usualy after i drive for a while it goes crazy. When i start letting off the clutch going into first the car starts shaking crazily no matter how i shift and then if i let of it nmakes a clucning noise though if i keep letting it shake it will shake untill i get it all the way engaged into first. This usualy happens after the car has been driven for a bit.
MY guess is it is something with the clutch but i dont know. It only shakes going into first and not any other gears. So please if u can help me out that would be greatly aprreciated. Thanks

yeah, check your driveshaft. mine had a similar problem, and it was my diff. the clutch packs in my LSD were locking and unlocking instead of slipping. but I have an s4, which is a clutch type lsd, when you have an s5, which did not come with clutch type lsds. so driveshaft is best guess.

U-joints / Driveshaft..

As a U-joint starts to fail, it first looses it's grease, then the needle bearings start to wear and make slack & excess clearance.
The extra wear sometimes allows the shaft to wobble off center giving vibration.
The vibration may vary depending speed and the position of the driveshaft when you first apply torque.
Then the needles start to rub & bind on each other.
As they bind & pop free from binding, you can hear a "tink" sound that rings the tubular shaft.
This can usually be heard just as you start moving.
Visual inspection shows rust deposits near where you would normally see grease residue.

also check your tranny mounts, theirs a brace under the tranny that helps reduce vibrations. i had to replace the drive shaft and mount on my 1990 gxl. mazda trix makes a real nice drive shaft with servicible u joints.(i have one) dont remember the price though.
