Please help identify this part
I don't have a picture. The part is a small black sensor. It's the size of a dime but rectangular. It has one wire coming out of the side that has a single terminal that connects to the wiring harness. It attaches to a bolt on the drivers side - back of the engine just below the oil filter.
I can't find it in any of the FSM or other books. My car is a 90 S5 Vert. The wire is severed so I need another one.

not sure about those, the only one i know of and has been brought up more than any other is the one for the oil pressure sender as it bolts to the transmission and rarely gets put back into its original spot and often times is found hanging in the engine bay.
