Please Help (emissions)

Wassup guys!!!! I'm just finishing the removal of my emissions but am not quite sure of something. I have already searched the topic and these are some final questions i still have and need some clarification on...

Ok, I have an '86 N/A and understand that the only vacuum lines I should have left when I'm done is the ones for the Oil Injectors (which i have decided I'm keeping), the one going to the F.P.R, and also one that goes between two of the manifolds that apparently helps with fuel atomization.

Now, what I'm not totally sure of is exactly where on which manifolds I need to connect the "atomization" line?

Also can I connect the FPR line directly to a vacuum source or should I still hook it up through the orange selinoid it was originally hooked up to?

Finally, is there anything else I'm missing here and if so what???

Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanx
elton

P.S. Can I still occasionally run premix even though I am keeping my OMP system working???
Thanx again!

Yes. Premix w/ the OMP intact should be at like 300:1 ratio (like 6oz 2stroke for a full tank)

Forget the orange solenoid. Just connect to a vacumm source on the intake manifold.

I'm a little vague on the lines b/t the two manifolds. If you mean the nipple b/t the two oil injectors....yes keep it. It goes below the large hose for the oil injectors. You know. One the front of the dynamic chamber there are three nipples. The top one for the oil injectors and the next one down for the hose that goes to the nipple b/t the two oil injectors.

That's the nipple for the fuel injector air bleeds that's b/t the two oil injectors.

Whatever you do, do not connect that line to a source of vacuum. Only to the second nipple down on the front of the dynamic chamber.

What does this 'air bleed' thingy actually do?

White_FC Hey! Stop that. You know I don't have a clue. Best I can come up with is that it helps atomize the fuel. Not sure how. I just know the air bleeds take filtered air from the front of the throttle plates and on the intake stroke of the rotor it somehow helps atomize the fuel from the injector. Maybe someone who really knows can give their answer. One thing I do know, is that just too many people have removed this source of air when they take their *rats nest* off, and they do not seem to have any problems with it disabled. But the Yang of it is that it was designed to be there for some reason, so why not leave it alone, as designed??? Its only one bloody vac hose.

HAILERS, damm i was really looking forward to actually hearing what it does! but your theory on atomisation sounds right to me, can't see what else it'd be for?
