PLEASE Help with the Eccentric shaft pully bolt!

OK, I've struggled with this damn bolt for over a week now and I cant get it to turn. Unfortunatelly I took half of the engine apart before I removed this pulley bolt so I can not use the flywheel gear holder thingy.

Look at the pic I posted and see what I've done. I have about 3 ft of extentions for both the 19mm socket/breaker bar and the chain wrench. I've tried using a 1/2" impact wrench (with about 120psi) and still wouldn't budge. I've also soaked it in penetrating oil for over a week and even tried heating it with a propane torch to try and loosen it.

I'm about ready to take it somewhere and have the damn bolt cut out with an acetylene torch and drill and tap the damn thing.

Any suggestions??? Please I'm in desparate need to get my 7 back on the road!!! I hate driving my damn Honda around all the time!!

Thanks,
Paul

Yeah.

Rebolt the flywheel back on slightly.

Then take one of your engine stand mounts that's probably not in use right now. And bolt the flat part of it to the flywheel (using the bolt thread hole that's for the clutch plate) and then bolt the arm part of the mount to the bell housing.

Make sure that the mount's placement is counter to the way the pully bolt unscrews of course.

Now that the fly wheel is prevented from moving, torque off the pully bolt.

Man I really can't follow you.

Could you rephrase and or elaborate alittle?

The way I interpret is that you want me to remove the engine mount and bolt it up to the flywheel and bell housing.

Thanks,
Paul

Sorry.

The engine stand you bought. You should have some fingers/mounts that came with the engine stand to bolt up to small block v8 or something.

They look like an L.

When I remove this stuff. I bolt on one of these fingers to flywheel using the available holes that accomodate the clutch plate. Then, I use the part of the finger/mounts' arm and bolt it to the bellhousing using one of the hole that accomodates the tranny. The starter hole for example.

The finger/mount is just more of a convenience than anything because it's almost exactly the same height from flywheel to bellhousing.

You could use just a regular piece of steel that you simply fabricated from home depot or something. a big *** bolt long bolt for the bell housing and whatever is required to bolt it to the flywheel.

Of course, I also went and bought bolts specifically for this OP at Lowes

But no, not an engine mount.

You must have been like. Whaaa???

Hope this didn't just get more confusing.

Now I understand more. Unfortunately I didn't get the V8 engine mount thing. So I guess I will have to fab something up. But, did you realise that I do not have the rear iron and the rear rotor housing on the engine anymore so that makes quite a distance between the flywheel and the middle iron.

Yeah tell me about it...

I'm going to see if I can get a 3/4" impact wrench.

Thanks for the attempt!
