please help...cooling prob

Please help me....
My car temp actually rising up when i am on idle....ie stoping at red light or stuck etc...and cooling down again (aobut 1/3-1/4) when i start to drive again...
i tought it was the thermostat...but i replace it..and it still doing the same thing...

Ppl told me it could be the clutch fan...but i have electric fan...

I need advice...

get a koyo radiator. That should help. Have u looked at the stock radiator or trouble shot anything?

i just did the rad flush...so i tought my rad would be fine...
how can you tell if the rad is no good??....but my car is cooling down when its in motion, so i dont thinks its the rad...


I would love to get koyo rad...but need to get baby crib...so cant spend $400 on rad..

i dont think the radiator is bad. Have u checked anywher for leaks just to make sure everythiung is functioning correctly?

From what I have heard it sound like it could be your E-fan. Do you have a shroud around it of any kind. your probly getting no airflow through your radiator when you are not moving.

If you just flushed the coolant I would put money on it that it is not completly full

i got...half tank full of 50-50 coolant mix in my "overflow coolant tank"...so if there is not enough coolant...in the rad...i tought it will be fill up automatically...
and there is no leak anywhere on the drive way...

can this be water pump or that lil sensor on top of the theremostat housing??

does your exhaust smell sweet? your water jacket o-rings could be shot.
