ok heres the backstory......
i have an 86-88 13b fi that has been converted to carb with a holley 650. it is sitting in a triumph spitfire

my problem is this:

do i need to use the coil packs and igniters or can i just use regular universal coils? how do they have to be wired?

if i used msd ignitions how would that be wired?

will a 12a dist fit b/c i have one lying around?

please help
