please help

ok i have run out of things to do. my car is a 1987 base model no power steering, no A/C. i have a 2 1/4 free flow exhaust (no cats)

now the problem is that the car will not start after its sits over nite but if i crank it it will try once then stop.

now i do have a fuel pump switch an if i de flood it an pour in tranny fluid it will start right up.

i have done a compression test an the rear rotor is a little behind in compression compared to the front rotor

could this be a possiable compression problem? or what

might be a leaky injector.well, thats what i gather from the rough description that you have posted.i suggest take them out and have them cleaned/tested.

avoid using atf to de-flood it.it is doing more harm then good.

I think you answered your own question. Your car IS flooding therefor you ARE having a compression problem albeit a temporary one. Having the injectors cleaned would seem like a good suggestion. I may be wrong but I think I saw that RTEK is offering an upgrade chip for some of our computers that includes a de-flood feature.

search the yellow pages or something and check what injection places are close by and phone them for a price.

Mazda injectors are bulletproof according to a rotary master I know...I'm having the same problem and he said its a temporary compression problem due to stuck apex seal springs. Push start the car, run it for 45 minutes to clear it up..turn it off and if it doesn't start back up its a garbage motor not worth putting anytime into (unless you wanna rebuild)

I dont think you can go wrong having your injectors cleaned. It will only cost $15-$17 each. Witchhunter.com did a very good job for me. Although, based on the flow test, mine were almost perfect before cleaning, its worth the price just to get the correct gaskets, pintle caps etc...

Everyone... If you have that UIM off, just bight the bullet and get those injectors cleaned. You'll be happy you did.

you can try the water trick with valvoline throttle body cleaner it can sometimes unstick a stuck seal, but do it at your own risk. do a search. I've made a few posts about it. My results were great.

a temporary band-aide would be to rev the car up while you shut it down to clean any extra fuel out of the chamber. if I don't do this my 200K GSL-SE will flood.
