Please Healp One And All !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok guys and gals
I know some where on this forum there is some thing that tells me why a boost sensor would go bad and where I can fins a place to get a new one but ill be damned if I can find it any where , this is my problem. My 86 fc "non turbo"
has a little boost sensor on the passenger side just forward of the strut mount in the engine compartment, for some reason god only seems to know why , but I will experience a substantial loss in power and horrible hesitation but if I unplug it then plug it back in all power is restored and every thing is back as it should be but here is my issue wit that use to I could pull this trick and the car would give me no problems for weeks hell months on end now it is more frequent like every 15 to 20 miles frequent which means I have to pull over put on the hazard lights pop the hood un plug this damn thing then plug it back in then close the hood and try to go on my happy go lucky way this is very frustrating and annoying if any one any one could please tell me how to fix this problem and where I could find a new boost sensor I would greatly appreciate it , if you look in the Haynes Manuel it only mentions it but never goes in to any detail on it and the manual labels it as boost sensor if that’s not the right name for it please correct me I appreciate any and all help I can get thank you for your time
