Please give comfort advice about sports seats... I need some experienced sitters!

Okay, looking for nice Sparco, Momo, Recaro, etc seats, I find this problem:

It seems that the ones designed for racing really aren't that comfortable for a long drive. You can buy lumbar accessories, but ultimately, you're not going to have the best comfort that you would find in a seat with support built in.

But then again, some of the street/sport seats look VERY comfortable.

Mine being a street car, and a highway car, I need the best comfort. However, my subs and sound system are based where my back seat used to be, so I can't recline very far, and therefore, reclining or nonreclining doesn't really matter to me.

So what models do you suggest? Please post some pics if you got them, or links.

I would suggest to test sit some seats before you buy. What is comfortable to one person maynot be comfortable to you. I've sit in some $600 seats that were uncomfortable but supported you well then again there was that $300 seat that was comfortable and supported me enough to make my factory TII seats seem like bench seat out of a 55 Chevy.

But what about people who own them? Who owns a comfortable aftermarket seat?

Yeah, it is hard to find a place that sells them around here, though.

Yep. Stock seat and it's comfy for wide or skinny bottoms, your back, calfs, etc..

i have sparco torinos in my 88 vert and wouldnt trade them for nothing the stock seats were very uncomfortable on long trips and didnt recline as far back i am 160lbs. 5'11 and i love them i muted them with a slight slope down towards the rear of the car.they are very comfortable and they feel a lot safer than the stock seats.

I haven't done much sitting yet. Or any. That place is out of the way. I did get the pitcat Sparco shoes, though!

Now I have found a source for seats that I have to decide on by tonight... oh, what the hell. *bids on this eBay item and ends the auction* I'll just sell it if I don't like it. "Sat in once. Just once! Like new!" Yeah, we'll see.
