Plastic fumes?
I've heard that a lot of bad gasses can supplimate from plastic trim and paneling inside a car. Messing up your windows and your health. Anyone know anything about this? It particularly is supposed to happen in hot conditions.

Hey, I have not heard that. But after 15 years or so, i'm pretty sure that all tha "new car" smell is outta there, and shouldn't be a problem to your health. Burning plastic and stuff may be bad. But my windows are fine (clear you mean?)

Yeah, I think it would be a reasonable thing if it exists. It's probably minimal. Can I smell hot plastic on a hot day, though? Certainly, and it isn't pleasant :P

Valid question, but the amount of gaseous plasticizers is minimal if you take the normal precautions.  You do not go driving around with the windows rolled up on a hot day, right?
A constant problem with a "foggy" windshield on the inside could be a case of coolant leaking into the interior from a heater hose.
