Plastic Bottem Shield

Off or on?

I'm pretty sure mazda had a reason to add this shield o the bottem on the engine. I'm just wondering why it;s there.

More direct air flow towards the radiator?

keep it on, it helps direct air flow to the radiator and keeps the car cool like it's supposed to

Both the lower & upper plastic panels are needed to force front ram air through the oil & water radiators.
