Planning to relocate logicon.

Right now I have a touchscreen in where the headunit once was, the logicon in the stock location, and a headunit where the upper vent used to be.

I'd like to move the logicon to the glovebox, put the headunit in it's place, then put the ducting back in for the vent. I was going to go at it today but the harness for the logicon is much too short to reach the glovebox and I'm not to sure what would be the most reliable/easiest/not going to cost me a billion dollars idea to move it.

I've seen it done before and it will work out pretty well for what I want. I don't have A/C anymore, and don't drive the car in the winter, so all I need the logicon for is to control the rare instances where I want to also run vented air in (like when it's raining, which I don't usually take the FC out into) or to use the defroster.

The other option is get another logicon harness and cut and splice it in
