Nice body kit, did it have to be custom fitted?

OS Giken clutch. Damn, how many arms did that cost ya?

Nice rims. I wish I had some Mazdaspeed rims like that for my TII. I love Aussie rims too. I want to get some Simmons rims to replace the Panasports on my FB (too many people are buying them).

interior pics

The OS Giken clutch cost me $500US 2nd hand, but it only had 200kms on it
The Mazdaspeeds are my pride & joy. They came with my old efini, and never left my posession....As Felix Wankel says, Simmons make their own version of it. I know AJC-13B has them on his car...nice....
i wanted to keep the power triangle balanced, that's why i went out of my way to lighten it. It is devoid of basically anything that is not necessary from a performance perspective. i was aiming at 1200kg, so was ecstatic at the 1140kg figure
Bodykit is totally custom basically. about $900US all up apprx..

Gone:
AAAALLLLL pollution ****
rear seats
15kg of dead wires
no power steering, AirCon, Sunroof, etc (a GT Limited, aka the "Poverty Edition"). We were ripping **** off the car like cannibals in a frenzy whilst rebuilding it.

here're a few pix of the snow camouflague interior :lol
it actually isn't as ostentatious as one would think, it sets off against the purple well, and is more ends up being balanced & subdued. Even if i do say so myself

keep swinging thru the trees,

I looked everywhere for a cool fabric like that when I redid the interior on my TII. All I could find were factory fabrics.

man the interior looks good, the camo is unusual but works well. If you could find a way to market that to all the rednecks with trucks here in the States, you would make a killing.. $$$$$$$

thats awesome. I thought it was the woodland camo (green n ****) but found out it was the urban stuff by the second picture. goes good with the interior.
I like the nose. Real nice job.
So much hp do you have?
And whats that stuff up front..mesh?
looks kinda odd, maybe some better quality pictures would help
great car.

the interior was my brother's idea, after he accidently saw the material when being dragged thru a fabric shop by his g/f

my friend is going army camo green tho...inspired by my efforts
i *was* making custom round taillights (like a Corvette) but used up all enthusiasm doing all the other stuff. perhaps in a few months, after a break from modding the car.

the car is going to be run on 16psi or 18psi, after this tuesday when i have it tuned & dynoed, and we are expecting to see anything from 200rwKW to 220rwKW...what's that in HP?

hmmm, the Ewols, Abners, & Hanks'd be interested in the camo interior 'eh?
well, there's a money maker for anyone reading this ingrained with a molecule of ambition. You need money for a RX7 don't you Node? Well here's your money-spinner!:p

You could be FD empowered within a few months of industry with some cloth & glue! took us about 3 or 4 hours to glue that all together, scraping off the old burgundy **** was the worst part.

keep swinging through the trees people,

200kw = 268hp

220kw = 294hp

there are 746 watts in a hp, so... 200,000 watts (200kw) / 746 =268hp

good finnaly I see someone actually has the MTX-8

when you bought the ECU did it come with a wiring harness,
instructions/manuel....
How was the installation and tunning of the unit?

I posted a question a while back about Microtech ECU's
and most people said it was no good for street use

In your experiance how the street drive'ability of the Unit

I emailed both dyson and dalton about these units but have not heard back from them since I emailed them 2 months ago...

BTW MicroTech powers the fastest Rotary in the WORLD
...Siguel Racing...

Microtech

kabooski,
microtechs are extremely popular here in Aust.
Don't believe all the bagging you hear, my car came with an MT-8, and has been running as smooth as a bell. I am getting it upgraded to handle spark this tuesday (with bosch coilpacks & a software upgrade)
Of course a motec or autronic is going to be better, but who wants to spend THAT kind of money for resolution they will never realistically need.
Email Vlad at rotorworx@hotmail.com
he is a guru with microtechs, running some of the most powerful rotaries in australia on them, and will be able to tell you anything & everything you want to know about them.
