Does any body know if they are new?

The reman I received came with a pilot bearing installed as well as a thermostat.

Are they new?

yes they are new...those are cheap parts and should be replaced...just look at them if they look worn or used they probably are but if they are shiney then most likey the are new!!
So the answer is a YES they both are new!!!

 

The dealership has no clue when it comes to this type of stuff!

nashman69g, the engine was built by MNAO 2 years ago, so it's hard to tell that's why I was asking

 

usually when rebuilding those parts come out and so I figure new ones should go in--unless they are trying to cut corners trying to save themselves a few bucks! but I don't see these parts as something to cut corners on!
