if there s4 you can make them paint them like the 10thae light to match your car color

sorry, but you can't. The one's you have are for the 86-88, and the ones nexpo8 has tails for the 89-91, which have a very different internal structure, so you can't even modify them to look the same. Your best bet is ebay or the for sale section if you want S5 tail lights.

You could swap them with 89-91 tails.... and bake out the insides.... Or you could paint the trim the color of your car rather than black (unless your car is black)... You could change it to LED's. Uhm... thats about all I can think of unless you are a wiz with acrylic, I can't think of anything else.

well u can do wut i did and remove the defusers inside of the tail lights. wut u do is u get a hot air gun or a blow dyer and u blow on the lights. that makes the glue inside get melted so u can be able to pull of red lens. then once open u take out the white sheet thats on there and melt the glue again so u can put lens back on or do like i did and scrap all of the glue off and use black silicon. works just as fine.

Talking

here is a idea that wasnt real popular on the forum

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-88...38554429QQrdZ1

and if you were to go to the upper right hand corner and click on search this forum and type in taillights, you'd be able to spend the rest of the day looking at taillight threads...

get creative and do something unique. dont have to ask what other people did. take them apart and toy around until you get a look you like. play with different materials and different light bulbs, ect. might get something unique and cool that no one else has. god forbid

if nothing else take the s4's apart and clean them really well and paint anything that needs it, then put it back together. look better than it did

once again how do i know what the s4 and s5 is... i know the years have something to do with it. I have a 87 gxl so the tail lights wouldnt even come apart? I would have to buy some S5 taillights and trim them up and do the conversion on them?
