PICS/POLL: White FC w/ Blue hood?

I'm not sure if i should get the hood repainted to "match" the color of the rest of my car... what do you guys think?

Also.. front bumper is nasty.. 350$ professional job or Maaco?

Prep you bumper, hood and trim yourself then take it to maaco and get it painted white to match the rest of your car.

DO NOT cheat out on your paint dude. The previous owner of my car had the front bumper, and front left fender painted... cheap *** paint. Its already chipping. 6 months later.

Paint the hood and front bumper painted. Don't cheap out... but not overboard

Paint the hood the same color. Why people want another color for their hood is beyond me (except CF hoods are ok, I guess.)

I think you should keep that bumper and have the entire car repainted white. You could probably get by with a good paint job in the $800 range.

ouch, 350 for a paintjob on the bumper and the hood? that paint will outlast the paint on the rest of your car and then some, lol... i would paint the whole car, but that's just me... if i could find a place to do it for $800, that's what i would do...

the prev. prev. owner of my car painted it blue, engine bay is red... everytime i pop the hood to do anything, it makes me gag slightly... i am goign to be repainting my car red as soon as i scrounge up the funds....

no man get it painted. wait till you can afford it though. i had to ride aroudn with a white hood on my black FC is sucked. i dont really want to ride around with mismatched parts but do it till you can make it nice again. if the rest of paint on body is in good condition just paint hood/bumper. if rest needs it then get it all repainted. Dean at unv paint adn body charged under 1k for full repaint.

BTW im the guy who sold hood to you.

paint

i got a quote for painting the whole car for $800... but i wonder how long the car has left to live. It has 136900 miles on it... if it will last another 3 or 4 years, then i would definitely pay the 800... but who knows right? i feel like a scumbag drivin around with a messy bumper and a mismatched hood... so far the pollsters say hood looks terrible while blue ( i can afford 100$ to repaint it) , but im looking at a bra for 40 bucks instead of repainting the bumper for 350$ dollars... yes 350 for a bumper!
