I ended up paying $6500 for it, but I think it was worth it. The motor only has 5000 miles on it, it's got some really nice BBS rims on it, black leather interior, and fresh paint. I'm really happy with it.

Don't worry....I'll treat her well. Anybody know where to buy factory service manuals. I had a Helms manual for my Integra. I learned how to do everything from fix a light bulb, to put a new head on the engine. So I reallywant to get a good manual for my Turbo II.

Ahh good old geosh|tt|es bandwith limit.

Sweet car. May I suggest the black "sunroof windguard" from your mazda dealership. It would be a great accent

You can buy them from Mazdatrix ($68) or download them from www.fc3s.org for free! Unfortunately the Series 5 manual there doesn't have wiring diagrams. I'd get a Haynes manual as well. The photos are much better than some of the FSM's drawings.

This engine appears to be a 1990 engine.
The airbox is not a stock 1991 airbox. thats a 1990 airbox.

Does the sticker on the door really say it was made in 1991?

Or is it a late 1990 car?

Also what body kit is that?
what skirts and air dam does the car have>?

that actually might be an 86-88 airbox...i didn't think any of the 89-91 airbox's had stickers...could be wrong though.

a lot of 91's still had a build date of 1990...and as for the side skirts, those are the stock 89-91 T2 ones

looks like a great car though man!!! you got one of the best of the last! have fun with it!!!

NZConvertable....thanks for the info on the service manuals.

Ok....I don't know whether or not the airbox is a 1990 or not, I haven't owned an FC long enough to tell the difference, as of now I could tell you the bolt size of any bolt on an Integra, but hopefully that will slowly shift to Mazda knowledge. But here is the information I do know on this car......

Yes, this car is a 1991, I ran the Vin# on it and it registers a 1991. Now, it currently has a pretty new rebuilt 13b in it, installed by Sunnyvale Mazda dealership less than a year ago. I think a lot of you might be familiar w/ the mechanic who put the motor in. His name is Ivan and I've actually read a little bit about him on here. Well, I talked to him about the car for a while the other day, and he says that this car is in excellent shape except that the exhaust system on it is off of his friend's old FC and needs to be replaced, but the motor and turbo is fully rebuilt as good as new.

Sniper X.....how is a 1990 motor different from a 1991 Motor. I thought that all sereies V motors were the same, but maybe I'm wrong?

oh my word, that is a beauty, worth every penny
The wheels look fantastic, great car, well worth it, and treat her well. You should get a Racing Beat exhaust to keep the semi-civilized exhaust sound and keep it looking very clean. Be sure not to hurt that car or we'll hunt ya down

Where did you find it? Did you buy it from the Mazda dealer in Sunnyvale, CA?

No....I found the car on autotrader last week and bought it as fast as I could, but the guy I bought it from bought it from the Sunnyvale Dealership not too long ago.

Node....I am looking into the Racing Beat exhaust, but do you know what the diameter on the piping is, before and after the Y? I hear that it's a good idea to install that FCD as well as a fuel pump before upgrading the exhuast system.
