Pics of my clutch, and some ?'s

Alright, I finally got around to pulling my motor and tranny today. My clutch went out about a week ago. Anyway, I just have a few questions. First I does anyone have measurements/tolerances for the flywheel. I think the last person who had it may have machined the flywheel. But I think when they did it they only turned the Disc surface, and not the shoulders? From what my Dad was telling me if they did one and not the other, the clutch diec would never fully engage. Which would cause accelerated clutch wear. Second, i cannot figure out how to mount my damn spoiler I just got. It is the Mazda GTU style. Any advice would help. Third, If I don end up using the old flywheel, could I use the ACT Heavy Duty 4-puck. I don't care about pedal pressure or engagement. I was just wondering if it would be to hard on the flywheel? Thanks in advance for any help.

the flywheel looks fine.

just make sure its not become concave, or "dished" use a straightedge to see if it is flat from the inner ring to the outer ring.

if so, rough it up and use it.

Spoiler mounts and clutch

The spoiler mounts with special plastic fittings that insert into key-shaped hole in your picture. Once inserted into the spoiler the threaded attachment goes through the hole in the rear deck and a nut secures it.

If you describe which fasterner you need to the Mazda parts guy or bring the spoiler to them they should be able to order the correct pieces.

I guess that you could make up something yourself too.

As for the clutch most manufacturers will NOT warranty a new clutch install if you don't have the flywheel machined. Also when you do this you're going to be sure it's flat and true and will give the best holding power with the new disc and pressure plate. Besides you already have the engine out why, so why not!
