Very nice!
Tru Dino your car look very nice I,ll gives you that one but I think i got the best deal of the sentury. I save my 1990 Black Conv. from the scrapt yard, It was destinated to be turned into metal rods.
I found the car in Georgia in a house nex to my friends. I ask the owner of the house for the car and he told me that the car was not his. He only was keeping the car there for a friend, But he has to get the car out of there a.s.a.p. because he was about to sell the house. He told me that the owner told him to take it to the junk yard or sell it for scrapt and what ever he can get out of the deal to keep it for the inconvenience of having the car so long in his house. So we contact the owner of the car the same day for the title. The guy just give the car to me. The car was in need of wheels an ECU and air flow meter. The nex day I went to a local junker and found a set of wheels from a crashed SILVIA r/h/d the ECU and Air Flow Meter from a 1991 GTU, My total investment was $125.00 dollars to put it in running condition, A nice tune up and ready for the road. It is my daily driver since them, Two year ago!
Note; Rust free everything on it works fine even the alarm works, The top start to rip off in one side recently. Milage now is 147632

good deal, I got a similar deal with my 88 turbo II, for $500 dollars although it hadn't ran in 5 years and had a slipping clutch, but no rust, nice paint, and nice interior with 95000 miles on it. I fixed it in 3 days then realized the leaking fuel injectors constantly flooding the engine, and the clutch didn't slip super bad but it did so right now i'm in the process of changing the clutch on it. my 1st gen was $150 with a stuck choke, but i replaced the carburetor for a good used one.

got my 87 for free, it had good interior and good exterior only needed a tune up and a battery had 105,000 miles on it, she gave it to me for cleaning out her garage, she was gonna pay me 50 bucks and i saw the car in the back and she said i could have it, i did a tune up and put a battery on it and drove out the same day, that was 2 years ago, and the car still runs smooth... o and it was an old old woman....

Put a dealer tag on it today and ran the **** out of it. It ran great and didn't smoke after warmed up. I think the turbo seal is where the oil is coming from. Still won't hot start though. I haven't checked the compression, but just cant believe that it would run like that with low compression!!!! Sideways at every stop!!!!!! Need another suggestion on hot start problem?

leaking fuel injectors? Make sure the oil metering pump lines are in good condition, or just premix your fuel. You got a dyno at your shop, so how much horsepower you got as a base line before tune-up, then again after tune-up.
