I photoshopped a pic of a red one. It has the Bomex kit on it, it is the side view of the Bomex kit and I wanted to see what it looks like without the side mouldings. Here ya go:

the only reason it looks nice is bc of the deep side skirts...do this on a stock FC without any side skirts and it will look a little dopey, trust me.

noooo... lol and side skirts are gonna break the bank... the one kit on cork sport is like $800.. thats no tooo bad.

well i pulled my side trim cuz it was nasty and falling off... i might leave the tinm on the front and back... but sand and paint the side trim area...

it all depends..

what we do is take a pic of the car, any car... get the outline of the car... add in windows and hard body lines.
Make lots of copys and hand them out.... every one make a few paint schemes and body mods.

I cant wait to get mine in the loop... i gotta save for the paint first.

ill scan in the ideas and maybe make a vote.

see, the red car pictured above where the moulding was removed just looks wrong, like a toy...it looks incomplete. now, if it had a body kit on it the car would look really great...simple front lip, skirts and a tasteful spoiler (stock). also, why paint all that stuff and not paint the mirrors, odd

actually, the mirrors were not painted because I forgot them when the car was being painted (doh!) The picture doesn't do the car justice (bad digital camera) I actually love the way the fc looks w/o side mouldings, but you are right, it would look much better if the car had a kit on it (which I had planned on but never got around to)... besides, she's not mine anymore , sold as of thursday

ps: it was my TOY!

personally I'd go with a corksport front bumper and stock S5 TII side skirts, then simple suspension package and some nice 16's, even FD wheels if you're budgeting. Then you would have one nice ride!! looks like the body work came out nicely, it's easy to mess up in filling large areas like that!!

im thinking for removeing the side trim, and leaving the bumper trim... not molding the side trim grooves or what ever you would call it.

just spraying the car like that... I think it would look good.. and if i didnt like it i could always add back on the side trim later.

Id like a kit but they cost sooo damn much!
