Pics of fried ECU?

Well after I replaced the OMP, the car still went into limp mode! I checked my ECU but found nothing out of the ordinary. What am I looking for when searching for a fried ECU anyways? Is there a certain part of the board I should be staring at? POst some pics of an OMP induced Fry job. I hate you OMP!

thanks brothers.,

Look at the ECU - you can tell if its fried, its obvious.
Now, what is the problem? Explain it in detail so we can help you out. If the ECU was fried, I doubt it would start at all.

why dont you SEARCH
he had given enough information

most likely, you would nede to replace the OMP AGAIN with a new ECU

\okay , heres the deal. first my OMP went out code 27, i pulled the ECU just to see if it went to. \i saw nothing out the the ordinary. Bought a used OMP that was in good condition. slapped it on this moring at work and went out for a drive. Bam! limp mode again. Code 27 again. Now before i cry in front of my co-workers, im pulling the ECU again and Checking it out. I want to see some Pics of what it is im suppose to see when it goes fizzle. otherwise im back to square one.

when mop dies, it could take the ecu with it
when the ecu is dead, it could take the mop with it

your mop hated itself so it committed suicide and it left a emotional scar on the n350
n350 is depressed and then he sees the new mop, but he realize the mop wasnt the same, so n350 killed mop like scott peterson

the only way to cure this relationship that is broken is start a new one with new people

buy a new ecu, and a new mop, or a used couple that have proven years of solid relationship

I disagree... I have had good luck replacing MOPs on ECU's that have no noticeable damage. There are pictures somewhere that show what happens when the ECU takes a dump too.. Let me see if I can find them.

I cant find the damn pictures, but I know that if you pull the ECU out, then pull the PCB up and look on the BACK SIDE, the damage will be readily apparent.
