Picked up a fc for $100
Hi Im new here and I just pick up this 1986 FC from a auction for $100. Sence I love the fc3s and it was only a $100 bucks I just jumped on it. Its in kind of in bad shape but there is no rust, and the body is in great shape. The bad part is some one busted the windsheild, door windows, plus it hasnt ran sence 1998(tags say), the passanger rear tire is locked up, the paint is crazy bad. Im not worry any of these because I can fix these easy what I am worried about it how to get it started. The car has about 147,000 miles on it and the clutch is on the ground(guess it just needs to be blead). I dont know that much about the 13b. So if anyone has any tip on what I should do before I try and start it or if I should just get new oil, spark plugs, filter, and put new gas in it and see how she runs. Any tip would help out. In the picks it on the whells i used to move it. It came with the dial wheels.

Poor alittle bit (2 oz)of motor oil into the engine from the spark plug holes. Keep the spark plugs out, pull the EGI fuse and crank it a bit to lube things up and help build compression. Reinstall EGI fuse, and spark plugs.. then if it doesn't start.. start troubleshooting.
YOu need
1. Compression
2. Fuel
3. Ignition.
If one is missing the car will not start, so have fun!

What a hunk of junk...
...I mean... Good luck with your project
I'd say stripping it and turning it into a track car would be best for her :p
That way you don't have to deal with that attrocious interior.

LOL I love my 240's I have 2 more that are not in the pic though 2 are my parts cars but I might fix the blue one. Should i change the oil and plugs first before I try to crank it or just go stright to pooring a little oil through the spark plug holes?

LOL thanks yall I can do alot by my self the only thing im worryed about is overhauling the engine if need be. And the white 240sx in the back ground was my friends but he got hit by a drunk driver(he didnt get hurt to bad) so I took it off his hands for 2 12". Had a great engine and alot of other parts. Next week is when I will start taking most of the stuff apart like that bust windsheild and doors windows, then mess with the engine, then start sanding. But man the paint is so bad its like chiping bad I can grab a peice and brake it off its weird. And yes its on steelies I had to use them to move it from were it was I have the dial looking wheels in my work space.
