Upon completing assembly of my Engine this weekend, I couldn't help but notice the Oil Pump Baffle Plate not clearing the Front Cover. I had to bend It In order to clear this area.

This was a clean one that was sent to me due to my previous one mysteriously disappearing awhile my Engine was apart for 5 months.

Does anyone have a pic of their Engine witout the Front Cover on?

 

No one? This Plate Is found on all TII's.

 

i got an 88 na tore completely to hell... would that work? or do u need a tii?

 

I think project84 had snapped a few picts without the cover on is s4 tII ( I think its a tii) engine, if you search for... bearing front cover project84 you might find it

TII's only have this Baffle Plate, not NA's. Thanks anyway.



I'm probably too parrell over this but I figure I question this before I mount the Oil Pan tomorrow. The Baffle Plate mounts below the Oil Pump and It's Chain.
