A pic of my car, and some questions about removing moldings

I'd like to know how difficult it is to remove the ugly trim on the wheel wells. Will it just peel off? Will it require painting after?

Also, do you think I should take the pin stripes off? =) I think they're ugly but I'm afraid that if the paint has faded the lines will show. Think it'll be a problem?

I took the pinstrips off my mine. Just peeled off. Polish and wax. Can't even tell they were there. It could be vary from car to car. I didn't have any problem. I have no idea about wheel well moldings.

The pieces in between the wheels (rear of the front fender, door, and front of the rear fender) peel off. But the glue will partially remain, and usually looks like ****. If you planned to repaint, not a big deal, but if not, it's probably not worth it.

The pieces with the lights in them, those are bolted on IIRC.

And then the bumpers, which are moulded into the bumper itself, those parts don't come off at all.

I'm talking about the little chrome strips around the wheel well, although they look like they are stuck on with the same stuff.

I like the pinstripes on dark cars (as seen below). Lighter color cars should avoid them

I just peeled mine off, looks SO much better. Question, will WD40 harm the paint in any way?

I've got some new rims on the way, and the pin stripes will be gone so I'll post a bunch of pics later.

Ok just cleaned it up with wd40 but you can still just barely see the lines. What should I do to get em out?

Try some polishing compound, or even rubbing compound.
It contains a very mild abrasive- you may want to wax it after.
