I really need help to get it running.
So far I have drained all the fuel from the gas tank. Replaced it with 93 octane fuel and lucas fuel treatment. I did an oil change because when i took out the dip stick it smelled like gas, I changed the spark plugs, I check the 3 inch hose which goes from the air meter to the turbo for cracks, I have checked to make sure the car is getting spark which it is. I tried to check that the fuel pump is working but I disconnected the line after the fuel filter with the car off. I tried to squeeze the fuel line and have someone turn the key and try to start it to see if the line gets hard showing that the fuel pump is working but the line was way to hard to tell.
I did have the car on a tow rope and popped it in third gear while being towed with a tow rope and the car did run as long as i kept it above 1 and a hlf rpm's. But when the rpms were below three it was very hard to get them to climb back up to 3 rpm's. When I stopped smoke was coming from near the turbo. Please keep in mind this car was stored in a barn for over two years almost two and a half years. I found a yellow jackets nest in the driver mirror almost got stung. Many many dead bugs in the car, spider webs under the hood! Someone told me I might have a rats nest in the exhaust clogging it which might stop it from running. LOL like that can happen...
Erik if you can help me get this car running I would greatly appreciate it.

well..you can do a compression test on the engine first thing and that'll tell you if the **** is blown.
there is also a procedure for starting a rotary that has been sitting for long periods of time but i'm unsure as to where the writeup is. maybe try a search...maybe someone will pipe in that knows where it is....

Good start so far.
Oil smelling like gas means that the engine flooded sometime while it was stored. The engine does not have enough compression to start because of it. (gas in large amounts eats away the protective oil film that helps your seals do their job).
To get some compression back, you will need to unplug the fuel pump, squirt some oil in the spark plug holes, and turn the car over a few times. Then try plugging the pump back in and seeing if the car starts. I personally recommend using the old spark plugs while turning the motor over with oil in it and then switching back to the new plugs when you try starting the car. You may have to do this many times until the motor has enough compression.
*Looks pretty clean for sitting in a barn. Got any more pics?

HAHAHA, welcome to the life of a RX7 owner!!!
if she bugs you enough and you get tired of it ill buy it!!!
it looks to be in great shape!!
look for a EGI fuse located under the hood...
pull it, and the plugs, crank it a few seconds (30 maybe) insert a LITTLE oil into the spark plug, crank it, insert plugs and reinsert the EGI fuse..
see if that will help it start...
and did you check the air filter for a nest of some sort?

Now that you're an official TII owner
you should register your VIN at TurboTed's web site registry. http://fc3spro.com/
See where your production date compares with others. I just tried it, but the site seems to be down. So, if still down when you try it, try again later.
On my TII, my VIN is the 4th oldest in the US.

I decoded my vin on this site. In the sticky section they have all the numbers and letters of the vin and what they mean.
Oh by the way I will not be able to do anything with the car today it is a family day we are going to be going by family. I will get punished and a time out!!! LOL
I took the stock air set up out. I did however leave the mass air flow sensor in. Funny thing is when I took apart the air box all stuff in it! I am going to try to take out the egi, remove the plugs and crank it, then insert some oil, crank it, put plugs and egi back and then crank it and keep my fingers crossed!
