NA headers are available from all the vendors (RB, Mazdatrix, Rotary Performance, etc. etc.).

Turbo manifolds for aftermarket turbos are available from them as well.

There is a VERY limited selection of aftermarket intake manifolds, and none that work with the stock throttle body. TweakIt has the largest selection: http://www.tweakit.net/shop/index.php?cPath=326_27_181

There are aftermarket lower manifolds available for the FD but that really doesn't matter in the 2nd gen section.

So if you want a different intake manifold, you probably have to build it yourself or go with the IDA system from TweakIt.

You really need an aftermarket ecu to make an aftermarket intake manifold work properly. If you don't have the ecu, there's no point in changing the intake. You can't even make them work with bandaid ecu's such as the Rtek or the SAFC. Unfortunately if you don't have much money, you probably won't be buying an aftermarket ecu. They range in price anywhere from $300- $1600 (or higher) for something that would work decently on the car for the money. An intake manifold would cost a few hundred dollars but then you'll need to address other things such as fuel rail parts, throttlebodies, etc... It can get up there in price pretty quickly.

If you are trying to stay nonturbo, your best bet for the money is a good header system. I'd start there.

and a wet shot is a cost effective means of going fast...

there are mods you can do to the stock intake tract but everything said above is correct, there are not many options out there.

a 'cheaper' route is to get a dcoe carb and star mazda one piece side draught manifold for their pre-renesis race cars, you'll have to sort out the fuel pressure but it is cheaper than going standalone, makes good power, and you get to throw alot of the 80's engine/emission management junk in the trash which sure is a pleasure.

turbo

i plan on upgrading to a turbo system in the future but for right now i would like to keep it NA and running strong. now obviously some of the most important things are intake and exhaust, seeing as im getting one of those custom built, then that isent a problem, im removing my cats. anybody know how much poer i gain from that alone?

and if i were to use a wet shot, how much can my stock 13b take?
also when you turbo the 13b how many lb can it take as well? this is a very curious point I have because i would love to throw on a wet shot wiht my other mods and then race it. lemme know guys. mucho gracias

A good place to start would be a search on "cat removal" and "test pipe" and "gut cats". Removal of the cats could cause your aux ports to cease functioning which is another can of worms. It's all been covered before so it should be easy to find.

The nitrous thread mentioned above is a VERY good source of info from one of the few people on this forum who really know what they're talking about.
