Pensoil Adaptive Molecule oil in rotaries?

Would the new pensoil have any benifits for rotaries?

I assume that this would be a better option for premixed only engines w/o an OMP?

Oil is oil... some might have a slightly better additive package, but for the most part they are pretty much the same. Back in the day QuakerState used to be horrible oil that would gunk up really bad but they seemed to have fixed that. It pisses me off every time I see that Oil that "add torque". One oil vs. another might see 1/2hp gain if that. Unless we are talking synthetic which might gain you a bit more... So I wouldnt worry too much about what kind. Of course we all have our favorites that we like. Im stuck with Kendall racing oil now after trying it. Seems to be some good stuff and isnt too heavy on the wallet.

PS, for the most part, its not the oil that burns up and turns black, its the additives burning and wearing out, along with stuff getting into the oil. Recycled/Remanufactured oil is ussualy just as good as first time stuff, just they are usually lesser brands that dont have as good of an additive package.

So oil is pretty much oil, just some clean better and whatnot

I'm pretty sure that the "adaptive molecules" are simply marketing hype and are based on properties that many oils have.
