Unhappy PD replacement??? lost!!!

I only had my rex for a month and have had a bunch of **** wrong with it.. I suspose its cuz it has 181K on it but thats besides the point.. My PD finally went bad and i am do for a replacement. i am assumming its under the upper intake right?? can you guys give me step by step instructions please... also isnt there a cheap fix like replaceing it wiht a NA fitting, banjo bolt or something.... if so what size how much will it cost and what would i have to do to fix it. Thanks for the help, Dave

Yes, you can replace it with a banjo bolt. It is right under the upper intake. Trace the fuel line, it is on the end of the primary fuel rail. It's a little top hat looking thing. If you don't have a Haynes manual, go buy one.

ok if you upgrade to a s5 fuel rail and use the bolts from your s4 you have to take nuts and thread them onto the bolts because they are too long for the smaller fuel rail. then you have to get a longer fuel line on the inlet side. that is about it for that.

it is always better to get a new fuel rail than to put a banjo bolt in it. but the bolt will work too. your choice.

my motor was rebuilt before i got my car, would they have fixed the PD problem so it does not leak??
