WA Parts needed. Is there any place better than MazdaTrix??

I need a Left Outside door handle for a 1988 Rx7 in Sunrise Red. The color code is RH. MazdaTrix wants $108.52 for it.

Is there a better place to get a new one, or, is there a reliable place to get a used one? I live in the Seattle area if that matters.

Thanks,

Don

Or repair it using J-RAT fix. Search for J-RAT and the term door handle.

Junk yards sell 'em for ten bucks or less.

Mazdatrix is a dealer just like the one near YOU.

I tried repairing it but I'm afraid that it's toast.

I can't even find a junk yard that has any rx7 stuff at all.

Thanks

Try these guys for used parts. You can search the entire country and all will ship something like the door handle pretty cheaply.

http://www.car-part.com/

I found a complete quarter panel using them and several other parts including a limited slip shipped very reasonably.

Thanks bschnard, I located a local wrecking yard that has a couple 2nd gen RX7's. They don't have the correct door handle but they might be able to help me with some other "stuff".

Thank you

Mazdatrix's prices are generally in line or a bit lower then the dealer price. Most of our parts are still available at the dealer.

Give Ray at Malloy Mazda a buzz, he's a big help to the RX-7 community and a great guy.

MazdaTrix's price of $108 was definitely better than Lynnwood Mazda (local delear) which wanted from $175 to $195 for the door handle depending on options. i.e. plain, key light or alarm.

I think they are not my friend. :-(

Lynnwood mazdas prices suck! That and there parts guy doesn't know ****. I just needed the crush washers for the turbo hard lines. Ordered, wrong ones, ordered again wrong again. I went up to Everett mazda, and the guy pulled them outa the back in like two minutes. AND they were cheaper.

On a good note there incompetence has gotten me a couple of free double ordered parts over the last 15 or so years.
