The parking break will also come on if you have a leak/failure in your break system (i.e. master cylinder failure). Not sure if thats your problem..sounds electrical if you just re-sodered.

sure it is not the turn signals that are on and not the parking lights???

Sounds more like you resoldered the CPU incorrectly and the turn signals are on.

Remember parking lights include the side marker lights, tail lights, L plate lights, dash lights.

If it is indeed the parking lights, then the switch is bad or you have an aftermarket alarm that has a stuck relay.

hmm...ok..in that case it might be the switch..cause yeah..the side markers and all the other stuff stays on..there is no alarm....the lights were like this even before i resodered the cpu...so u think it might be the actual switch right?

again if it is truly the parking lights, either the switch is bad or you have a aftermarket alarm that has a stuck relay.

Or someone hacked up all your wiring and joined together some wires that should have been somewhere.

But its pretty easy to check...

Do they stay on when you unplug the light switch????

if they do you have hacked up wiring or again an aftermarket alarm issue.

If they don't.....

YOU HAVE A BAD SWITCH
